NTPC-SAIL Power Company Pvt. Ltd (NSPCL), a 50:50 joint venture of two Maharatna companies, NTPC Limited and Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), paid total dividend of Rs.100 crore for the year 2014-15 which is 10.20% of equity share capital.
On behalf of NTPC, A. K. Jha, CMD NTPC, S. C. Pandey, Director (Proj.), K. K. Sharma, Director (Opn.) & Chairman NSPCL and Sudhir Arya, ED (Fin.) & Director NSPCL, received a cheque of Rs. 10 Crore of final dividend from Manash Sarkar, CEO, NSPCL, along with S. V. Shahi, CFO, NSPCL, at NTPC Corporate Office in New Delhi.
NSPCL has been consistently paying dividend to its promoter companies ever since its inception in March, 2001.
