New Delhi, May 29: NTPC Bongaigaon has secured two national honours, strengthening its credentials in workplace safety, environmental management and corporate social responsibility.
The power station received the Gold Category OHS&E Excellence Award 2026 from the International Business Conference (IBC) for its strong performance in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHS&E) management.
The award was accepted by Rajiv Ranjan, AGM (Safety) on behalf of the station.
In a separate recognition, NTPC Bongaigaon won the 12th Greentech CSR Award 2026 in the Healthcare Promotion (Rural) category, acknowledging its community healthcare and rural development initiatives undertaken through corporate social responsibility programmes.
The CSR award was received by Smriti Das, Executive (CSR, LA & R&R).
Both recognitions were later presented to Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, who commended the Safety and CSR teams for their commitment and collective contribution to achieving the honours.
Maitra appreciated the efforts of employees and stakeholders in maintaining high standards of safety, environmental stewardship and community engagement, while encouraging teams to continue pursuing excellence across operational areas.
The dual recognition highlights NTPC Bongaigaon’s sustained emphasis on safety, sustainability and social responsibility, reinforcing its position as a responsible corporate entity alongside its power generation mandate.
