Gurugram, July 03: REC Limited has sanctioned ₹4.22 crore under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme to establish 100 smart classrooms in 100 government schools across the Lakhimpur and Kaziranga regions of Assam. The initiative is designed to strengthen digital education infrastructure and create a modern, technology-driven learning environment for students.
The project aims to improve the quality of education by integrating smart classroom technology into government schools, enabling interactive teaching methods and enhancing students’ learning experiences. A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for the project was signed on July 2, 2026, at REC Limited’s Corporate Office in Gurugram. The agreement was signed by L. B. Nautiyal, Head of CSR, REC Limited, and B. Vinod Kumar, Director, Indo German Institute of Advanced Technology (IGIAT).
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Arun Kumar Tyagi, Executive Director (CSR), REC Limited, along with senior officials from REC Limited and IGIAT. The collaboration is expected to ensure the successful implementation of the smart classroom project across the identified government schools.

गुरुग्राम, 3 जुलाई, 2026: कॉर्पोरेट सोशल रिस्पॉन्सिबिलिटी (सीएसआर) के ज़रिए एजुकेशन इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को मज़बूत करने के अपने वादे को दोहराते हुए, आरईसी लिमिटेड ने “असम के लखीमपुर और काज़ीरंगा इलाकों के 100 सरकारी स्कूलों में 100 स्मार्ट क्लासरूम बनाना” प्रोजेक्ट के लिए ₹4.22 करोड़ मंज़ूर किए हैं। इस पहल का मकसद सरकारी स्कूलों में डिजिटल लर्निंग सॉल्यूशन को जोड़कर और स्टूडेंट्स के लिए एक दिलचस्प, टेक्नोलॉजी वाला लर्निंग माहौल बनाकर एजुकेशन की क्वालिटी को बढ़ाना है।
इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर 2 जुलाई, 2026 को गुरुग्राम स्थित आरईसी लिमिटेड के कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय में आरईसी लिमिटेड के एचओडी (सीएसआर) श्री एल. बी. नौटियाल और इंडो जर्मन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ एडवांस्ड टेक्नोलॉजी (IGIAT) के निदेशक श्री बी. विनोद कुमार ने हस्ताक्षर किए। यह हस्ताक्षर समारोह आरईसी लिमिटेड के कार्यकारी निदेशक (सीएसआर) श्री अरुण कुमार त्यागी और आरईसी लिमिटेड तथा IGIAT के अन्य अधिकारियों की मौजूदगी में संपन्न हुआ।
