New Delhi, July 04: NLC India Limited (NLCIL) organized a massive beach clean-up drive at Samiyarpettai Beach as part of its ongoing Swachhata Pakhwada campaign, reaffirming the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability and public cleanliness. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and employees of the Vigilance Department.

The clean-up drive was led by T.G. Citrakala, Chief General Manager (Vigilance), and R. Gunasekaran, General Manager (Vigilance). A large team comprising vigilance officers, administrative staff, operators and support personnel actively collected plastic waste, litter and other debris from the beach.

Recognised as one of the popular tourist destinations in the region, Samiyarpettai Beach witnessed a visible transformation following the intensive cleanliness campaign. The initiative also attracted the attention of local residents and visitors, encouraging greater public participation in maintaining clean public spaces.
