New Delhi, Sept 28: The virtual workshop on “Sustainability of Drinking Water,” hosted by the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation and coordinated by NITI Aayog, highlighted source sustainability and operation & maintenance (O&M) as priorities for the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).
Top officials, including Ashok K. K. Meena and Kamal Kishore Soan, emphasized the need for effective planning and monitoring at the district level and the judicious use of funds for water conservation.
Key presentations covered the journey of JJM, groundwater scenarios, and state experiences, leading to a rich discussion on challenges and best practices.
