New Delhi, July 16: REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Power and a leading infrastructure financing Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), has successfully renewed its ISO 31000:2018 Letter of Recognition for Risk Management Guidelines following a comprehensive reassessment by the British Standards Institution (BSI).
The renewed recognition reinforces REC’s commitment to globally benchmarked Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) practices and highlights the company’s focus on strengthening governance, operational resilience and long-term sustainability in an increasingly dynamic business environment. The reassessment was carried out by REC’s Risk Management Division, which reviewed and enhanced the organization’s risk management framework to align with evolving regulatory requirements, emerging risks, industry best practices and changing market conditions.
Following an extensive audit and evaluation, BSI confirmed that REC’s Enterprise Risk Management framework continues to comply with the principles and guidelines of ISO 31000:2018. The internationally recognised standard provides a structured framework for identifying, assessing, monitoring and mitigating risks, enabling organisations to improve decision-making, strengthen governance and support sustainable growth.
The renewal builds on a significant achievement recorded in July 2025, when REC became the first Indian Public Sector NBFC to receive BSI recognition for compliance with ISO 31000:2018 Enterprise Risk Management Guidelines. नई दिल्ली: REC लिमिटेड, विद्युत मंत्रालय के अधीन महारत्न सीपीएसई और अग्रणी इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर फाइनेंसिंग एबीएफसी, ने ब्रिटिश स्टैंडर्ड्स इंस्टीट्यूशन (बीएसआई) द्वारा किए गए व्यापक पुनर्मूल्यांकन के बाद जोखिम प्रबंधन दिशानिर्देशों (Risk Management Guidelines) के लिए अपने ISO 31000:2018 मान्यता पत्र को सफलतापूर्वक नवीनीकृत कर लिया है। यह नवीनीकृत मान्यता, बदलते व्यावसायिक परिवेश में वैश्विक स्तर के जोखिम प्रबंधन अभ्यासों को बनाए रखने और संगठनात्मक लचीलेपन को मजबूत करने के प्रति आरईसी की प्रतिबद्धता की पुष्टि करती है।
