Shri R.Vikraman, Director (HR), NLC India Limited inaugurated AMRIT Pharmacy outlet in NLCIL Township adjacent to LIC Office ,Block -13, Neyveli on 28th February 2018.
AMRIT Pharmacy outlet is a novel initiative of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW),Govt.of India to provide generic drugs, which are available at lesser cost but are equivalent in quality and efficacy, as that of expensive branded drugs prices available in the market.
Government of India owned HLL Lifecare Ltd (HLL) is running the AMRIT a chain of pharmacy outlet to sell both drugs and implants at significant discount on market rates, based on authentic prescriptions from doctors.
AMRIT pharmacy reflects Govt. of India’s strong commitment to reduce the cost of treatment for the patients. Opening of AMRIT in NLCIL Township will provide the drugs at the affordable prices to the common masses.
