OIL contributes Rs 38 Crore towards PM CARES Fund

Noida, Mar 31 Towards India’s collective fight against Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19), Sushil Chandra Mishra, CMD, announced that Oil India Limited (OIL), India’s second largest National Exploration & Production Company would be contributing Rs 38 Crore from its CSR Fund towards Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES Fund).

Also, entire OIL employees including CVO and Independent Directors have contributed 1 day salary towards PM CARES Fund in addition to activities towards helping local communities at the same time ensuring uninterrupted production of Crude oil and Natural gas, one of the vital needs of the nation. 

OIL always strives towards securing energy security for the nation but at the same time is resolved in rising to the occasion to combat the difficult and challenging times.
