Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 to Discuss Future of India’s Power Ecosystem

New Delhi, March 18: Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, India’s premier global conference-cum-exhibition for the power and electricity sector, will be held from March 19–22 at Yashobhoomi, bringing together global industry leaders, policymakers, and investors to discuss the future of the electricity ecosystem.

Organised under the aegis of the Ministry of Power, the summit will host over 100 conference sessions, 300+ speakers, and participants from more than 80 countries, alongside 500 exhibitors, including over 100 startups. The event is expected to attract more than 25,000 visitors, positioning it as one of the largest global platforms in the power sector.

The summit, themed “Electrifying Growth. Empowering Sustainability. Connecting Globally.”, will focus on advancing renewable energy integration, modernising grid infrastructure, enhancing power distribution efficiency, and promoting vendor development under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Key areas of discussion include indigenisation of emission systems, solar power, energy storage, transmission infrastructure, and digital distribution technologies. The government has highlighted investment opportunities exceeding ₹50 lakh crore across generation, transmission, distribution, and storage segments through 2032.

A large-scale exhibition spanning over 20,000 square metres will showcase cutting-edge technologies across the electricity value chain, including clean energy, smart grids, and emerging innovations. The participation of global stakeholders reflects rising international interest in India’s rapidly evolving power sector and its leadership in driving a sustainable and resilient energy transition.
