New Delhi, July 07: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has entered into a strategic partnership with thyssenkrupp nucera India Private Limited to accelerate the indigenisation and local manufacturing of alkaline electrolyser systems for green hydrogen projects in India. The collaboration marks a significant milestone in strengthening the country’s clean energy ecosystem.
The agreement was signed in New Delhi by senior representatives of both organisations in the presence of German Ambassador to India and Bhutan, Dr. Philipp Ackermann, BHEL Director (Industrial Systems & Products) Bani Varma, BHEL Director (Engineering, Research & Development) S. M. Ramanathan, and other senior officials.
Under the partnership, BHEL will leverage its extensive engineering, manufacturing and project execution capabilities while working with thyssenkrupp nucera India’s advanced electrolyser technology to enable phased localisation of alkaline electrolyser systems, a key component in the production of green hydrogen.
The collaboration is expected to significantly enhance BHEL’s project execution capabilities in the rapidly growing green hydrogen sector. Local manufacturing of electrolysers will also help reduce import dependence, strengthen domestic supply chains and support India’s ambition of becoming a global hub for green hydrogen production.
With decades of expertise across power, transmission, renewables, oil and gas, transportation, defence and aerospace, BHEL is expanding its footprint in emerging clean energy technologies. नई दिल्ली, 07 जुलाई: भारत हेवी इलेक्ट्रिकल्स लिमिटेड (बीएचईएल) और थाइसनक्रुप न्यूसेरा इंडिया प्राइवेट लिमिटेड ने एक रणनीतिक समझौता किया है, जिससे भारत में ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन परियोजनाओं के लिए एल्कलाइन इलेक्ट्रोलाइज़र प्रणाली का चरणबद्ध स्वदेशीकरण और स्थानीय विनिर्माण संभव हो सकेगा। यह सहयोग भारत में ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन परियोजनाओं के लिए बीएचईएल की परियोजना क्रियान्वयन क्षमताओं को और सुदृढ़ करेगा।
बीएचईएल की ओर से श्री वाई श्रीनिवास राव, कार्यपालक निदेशक (हेवी पावर इक्विपमेंट प्लांट) और श्री सुतृप्तो डे, महाप्रबंधक एवं प्रमुख (न्यू एंड रिन्यूएबल एनर्जी बिज़नेस) तथा थाइसनक्रुप न्यूसेरा इंडिया प्राइवेट लिमिटेड की ओर से श्री किरण जोसेफ, सीईओ और श्री मनीष भोसले, निदेशक (बीडी एंड सेल्स) ने इस समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस अवसर पर महामहिम डॉ. फिलिप एकरमन, भारत एवं भूटान में जर्मनी के राजदूत, सुश्री बानी वर्मा, निदेशक (औद्योगिक प्रणाली और उत्पाद) बीएचईएल, श्री एस एम रामनाथन, निदेशक (इंजीनियरिंग, अनुसंधान एवं विकास) बीएचईएल तथा अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
