The Northern Regional Office of IndianOil Corporation Limited situated in Green Park, New Delhicommissioned at 50 KW On-Grid rooftop solar power plant in its office premises. It was inaugurated by IndianOil’s Director (Marketing), Mr. Gurmeet Singh in the presence of Executive Director (Human Resources), Head Office, Mr. U P Singh, Executive Director (Regional Services), Northern Region Dr. Harsh Sachdev and other senior officials.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Gurmeet Singh said, “Sustainable development is not just a mere slogan for IndianOil, but it is deeply imbibed in the ethos of our Corporation”. He added that IndianOil has always been committed to a sustainable business strategy and initiatives such as the rooftop solar plant at NRO will help continue IndianOil’s growth as an environmentally responsible organization.
The Solar plant has 150 solar panels of 335 watt each and will generate approximately 50400 units of electricity annually. IndianOil will save nearly Rs 5.59 Lacs every year due to the on-grid rooftop solar power plant. The investment in the solar plant would be returned in just 3.7 years.
IndianOil recognises its responsibility to the people and environment. In line with the strategic approach to become a future-ready organisation, the Company is taking several initiatives to enhance its energy efficiency and its reduce Greenhouse gas emissions. IndianOil has a total renewable energy installed capacity of 226 MW which includes 21 MW of grid connected solar power plants ,37 MW of off-grid solar plants and 168 MW of wind power plants.
इंडियन ऑयल के उत्तरी क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय में लगा 50 किलोवाट का ऑन- ग्रिडरूफटॉप सोलर पावर प्लांट
नई दिल्ली के ग्रीन पार्क में स्थित इंडियन ऑयल कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड के उत्तरी क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय ने अपने कार्यालय परिसर में 50 किलोवाट ऑन-ग्रिड रूफटॉप सौर ऊर्जा संयंत्र की स्थापना कीगयी है । इसका उद्घाटन इंडियनऑयल के निदेशक (विपणन), श्री गुरमीत सिंह ने कार्यकारी निदेशक (मानव संसाधन), प्रधान कार्यालयश्री यूपी सिंह, कार्यकारी निदेशक (क्षेत्रीय सेवाएँ), उत्तरी क्षेत्र डॉ हर्ष सचदेव और अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की उपस्थिति में किया। ।
इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए, श्री गुरमीत सिंह ने कहा, “सतत विकास इंडियनऑयल के लिए केवल एक नारा नहीं है, बल्कि यह निगम केमूल्यों का एक अभिन्न अंग है।” उन्होंने कहा कि इंडियनऑयल हमेशा एक सतत व्यापार रणनीति के लिए कार्यरतहै और एनआरओ में रूफटॉप सोलर प्लांट जैसी पहल पर्यावरण के प्रति इंडियनआयल की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है ।
एनआरओ मेंलगे सौर संयंत्र में 335 वाट प्रत्येकके 150 सौर पैनल हैं जिससे सालाना लगभग 50400 यूनिट बिजली का उत्पादन होगा। ऑन-ग्रिड रूफटॉप सौर ऊर्जा संयंत्र के कारण इंडियनऑयल हर साल लगभग 5.59 लाख रुपये बचाएगा। सौर संयंत्र में किया गया निवेश, ऊर्जा की बचत से केवल 3.7 वर्षों में वापस आ जाएगा।
इंडियनऑयल लोगों और पर्यावरण के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारी हेतु सदैव संवेदनशील है । भविष्य के लिए तैयार संगठन बनने के लिए रणनीतिक दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप, कंपनी अपनी ऊर्जा दक्षता बढ़ाने और अपने ग्रीनहाउस गैस उत्सर्जन को कम करने के लिए कई पहल कर रही है। इंडियनऑयल की कुल अक्षय ऊर्जा स्थापित क्षमता 226 मेगावाट है जिसमें 21 मेगावाट ग्रिड से जुड़े सौर ऊर्जा संयंत्र, 37 मेगावाट के ऑफ-ग्रिड सौर संयंत्र और 168मेगावाट पवन ऊर्जा संयंत्र शामिल हैं।
