Duliajan, 12th March 2022: As part of the celebration of ‘Iconic Week’ under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ inititative, Directorate General of Mines Safety in collaborationwith Oil India Limited and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited, a workshop on Occupational Health & Safety in Oil & Gas Mines was organized at OIL Fields Headquarters, Duliajan on 11th March,2022 at Zaloni club auditorium.
The workshop was attended by officials of DGMS, OIL, ONGC, GeoEnpro, HOEC, CAIRN Vedanta, Union Officials and various other Contractors.
The workshop was ceremoniously inaugurated by Nava Prokash Deori, Director (Mining), Eastern Zone Directorate General of Mines Safety as the Chief Guest in presence of Prasanta Borkakoty, Resident Chief Executive, OIL, other dignitaries from DGMS and various industries.
The workshop began with technical presentations by various dignitaries present from OIL, ONGC and DGMS covering key issues on Occupational Health & Safety in Oil & Gas Mines. It was followed by a panel discussion.
The workshop ended with vote of thanks by S. K Rai, ED (HSE), OIL, Corporate Office.
