Gurugram, 5th April 2022: REC Limited, a Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Power has committed financial assistance of about ₹1.34 Cr. under its CSR initiative for procurement and installation of medical equipment to help strengthen the healthcare services in BK Hospital, Faridabad.
The proposed equipment under the project will be utilized in various aspects of healthcare services such as Operation Theatre, Radiology, Eye OPD, Gynecology and Neonatal Care and Dental Services which will address issues such as patient overload and simultaneously improve the quality of healthcare services in the Hospital.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) in this regard was executed between REC Foundation District Health & Family Welfare Society, Faridabad (DH&FWS) and Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad in the presence of Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Power, and Ministry of Heavy Industries, Jitender Yadav, IAS, DC, Faridabad, Dr. Vinay Gupta, Civil Surgeon, BK Hospital, Faridabad, SKG Rahate, CMD REC, Dr. Kajal, IAS, Executive Director (CSR) REC Limited; and other officials.
