RailTel posts its Consolidated Income of Rs.385 Crore in 1st quarter of FY 22-23

Company’s Consolidated income grows22% Y-O-Y
New Delhi, Aug 10 RailTel announced its consolidated income of Rs.385 Crorein 1st quarter of FY 22-23 in its 134thboard meeting held on 10.08.2022. This is a growth of 22% over consolidated income of Rs. 315 Croreof1st quarter of FY 21-22.
With this, RailTel has posted a consolidated Profit before tax amounting to Rs. 35 Crore and Profit after tax of Rs. 26Crorein 1st quarter of FY 22-23 on consolidated basis. This is a growth of 25% in Profit before tax and growth of 24% in Profit after tax in comparison to 1st quarter of FY 21-22.
Speaking about the result Ms. Aruna Singh Chairman and managing Director RailTel said “it is very heartening to see the first quarter results,we have shown a very positive growth both in revenue and the bottom line. Considering the projects on hand such as video surveillance system, tunnel communication works and Defence sector projects I am very hopeful that we will close the year with even better results.
