New Delhi, Sept 18: The Quality Circle team “Aqua Power” of Chemistry department NTPC Bongaigaon won the Gold category award in QCFI Chapter convention held at Hyderabad. A total of 170 teams from different PSUs and Private organizations participated in this convention on 16th September,2022.
The team consisted of Shyamal Banerjee (Facilitator), Apurbajyoti Das(Leader), Jugal Medhi( Dy. Leader) and Smt. Anamika Dutta (Member).
NTPC has expanded the concept of Quality Circles (QC) beyond the project plants and corporate structures. In alignment with NTPC’s firm belief that knowledge strengthens the community; more than 30 quality circles are actively operating in identifying various community problems and providing viable solutions, in various villages near its stations.
QC members are given training on QC Techniques, communication skills and stage oration and encouraged to take part in state / national level QC competitions.
