New Delhi, Sep 16 Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna PSU under Ministry of Power, paid ₹574.35 Crore as final dividend for FY 2024-25 to Ministry of Power, Government of India in New Delhi today. The total dividend paid by POWERGRID for FY 2024-25 stands at Rs. 4,297.40 cr.
A cheque was presented to Union Minister Manohar Lal by R. K. Tyagi, CMD, POWERGRID in the presence of Directors of POWERGRID.
As of 31st August 2025, POWERGRID has commissioned and is operating 286 Sub-stations and more than 1,80,864 ckm transmission lines and 5,77,331 MVA of transformation capacity.
With the adoption of the latest technological tools and techniques, enhanced use of automation and digital solutions, POWERGRID has been able to maintain an average transmission system availability of more than 99.84%.
