The United States military attacked Iran again on Tuesday night. This attack makes ten nights of fighting in a row. The American forces used jets and missiles for these attacks. They hit military centers and rocket launch sites inside Iran. They also targeted air defense systems near the coast.

The American military wants to clear the Strait of Hormuz. This water path is very important for oil ships. Iran blocked this path earlier this month. It’s a very tense time in the region.

President Donald Trump gave a strong warning to Iran’s leaders. He promised heavy consequences for the deaths of American soldiers. The Pentagon recently identified two dead soldiers from Hawaii and Texas. An Iranian attack killed them in Jordan last week. The current war has killed seventeen American troops so far.

Iran also hit back with its own weapons. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard launched drones and missiles at American allies. They claimed to hit a U.S. Patriot defense system in Bahrain. This system protects people from flying missiles. Loud sirens warned people in Bahrain during the night. Iran also aimed weapons at bases in Kuwait.

The danger on the water grew even worse on Tuesday. A flying object hit a commercial oil tanker off the coast of Oman. The crew had to leave the damaged ship quickly. Jordan also shot down three Iranian missiles in the sky.

Iran’s president explained the situation to his people. He called this fight a full-scale war. The two nations had a peace deal earlier. But President Trump declared that deal over.

This giant dust-up shows no signs of peace. The United States is now sending more warplanes to the region. These planes will help defend ships and allies.
