New Delhi, Feb 24: Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended his congratulations to Rob Jetten on assuming office as Prime Minister of the Netherlands, reaffirming India’s commitment to further strengthening the longstanding bilateral partnership.
In his message, Prime Minister Modi underscored the depth and diversity of India–Netherlands relations, built on more than 75 years of diplomatic engagement.
He expressed confidence that under the new leadership, both countries would continue to expand cooperation across key sectors including trade and investment, water management, sustainable development, agriculture, health, defence, and emerging technologies.
India and the Netherlands share a robust economic partnership, with the Netherlands among India’s leading European investors and trading partners. A cornerstone of the relationship is the Strategic Partnership on Water, which facilitates collaboration in flood management, water governance, and clean water technologies.
