New Delhi, Oct 01: Power Finance Corporation Ltd. (PFC), a prominent Maharatna CPSE and India’s largest NBFC, has partnered with Export Finance Australia (EFA) to secure an ECA-backed financing facility from Citi for USD 180 million.
This marks EFA’s entry into India’s renewable energy market and highlights the strengthening ties between India and Australia in clean energy cooperation. The funds will support green infrastructure projects across India, such as renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives.
The Loan Agreement was signed on September 30, 2025, by key executives from PFC and Citi, with PFC’s CMD, Parminder Chopra, emphasizing the collaboration’s role in enhancing sustainable finance and supporting India’s low-carbon transition.
