Duliajan, Feb 03: OIL Fire Service, Duliajan has stepped-up its capability of fire fighting with introduction of state-of-the-art technology “Mini Water Mist Fire Tender” which was inaugurated by Prasanta Borkakoty, Resident Chief Executive, OIL, Duliajan in the presence of senior officials of the company on 28.01.2022. The inauguration ceremony was organised at Central Fire Station, Duliajan with demonstration of its unique features.
OIL Fire Service has procured the above said firefighting appliance with aim to cater Class B Standby services & attend fire incidents specially in remote & narrow operational including public areas where conventional Fire Tenders face difficulty to reach the site.
This Fire Tender has been commissioned with latest water mist technology to fight small/medium fire incidents that may occur in the operational areas of OIL including public in a bare minimum time.
The above said Fire Tender is capable of dousing Class A, B & C including electrical fires with in-built water and foam tank capacity of 500 & 50 litres respectively.
