On 18th December, 2020, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between OIL INDIA LIMITED (OIL) & NUMALIGARH REFINERY LIMITED (NRL) was signed to augment OIL’s existing pumping capacity through Numaligarh Siliguri Pipeline to increase product (Motor Spirit, High Speed Diesel and Superior Kerosene Oil) evacuation from 1.72 MMTPA to 5.50 MMTPA.
The MoU was signed by Sri Sandip Goswami, CGM (OIL) & Sri M K Pegu, Head Pipeline Project (NRL) in the presence of Sri Sailesh , Secretary, Department of Public Enterprise, Government of India, Dr M Ariz Ahmed, Principle Secretary, Department of Public Enterprise, Government of Assam, Sri S.C Mishra, Chairman & Managing Director, OIL , Sri Harish Madhav, Director (Finance),OIL and Sri S. K Barua, Managing Director, NRL, Sri B. J Phukan, Director(Technical), Sri Indranil Mitra, Director(Finance), NRL.
