New Delhi, Oct 28: Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) 2025 is being observed in Oil India Limited (OIL) from October 27 to November 2, 2025, under the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”
The inaugural event occurred on October 27, 2025, at OIL’s Corporate office in Noida, where Dr. Ranjit Rath, CMD of OIL, and Shalabh Tyagi, IRSEE, CVO of OIL, administered the Integrity Pledge in front of Functional Directors and other officials.
The event featured a speech by Chief Guest Dr. Swaraj Puri, IPS (Retd.), who provided valuable insights on vigilance and integrity.
On this occasion, the annual inhouse magazine ‘InTouch’ was also ceremoniously released.
This year the focus areas is on preventive Vigilance with the focus on
(i) Disposal of pending complaints
(ii) Disposal of pending cases
(iii) Capacity Building Programs
(iv) Asset Management
(v) Digital initiatives
