Duliajan, February 4th, 2021: Oil India Limited felicitated Padma Shri Awardee for Art, Shri Dulal Manki at his residence at Keseruguri, Borhapjan Tinsukia District on 3rd February 2021.Shri Agadh Medhi, Executive Director (SIO&SP) and other officials from OIL presented Shri Manki with memento and draped a traditional Assamese shawl.
Shri Manki, a folk singer and music composer from tea Tribes Community, Assam has composed number of songs and promoted folk music mostly inspired from the lives of tea tribes of Assam. Shri Manki is also credited with giving music in number of songs in Assamese films.
