New Delhi, Nov 01: NTPC Bongaigaon conducted Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, themed “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility,” emphasizing transparency and good governance while aligning with National Unity Day.
The week featured an Integrity Pledge, a Walkathon led by senior project officials, and concluded with a tree plantation drive.
Various outreach initiatives were organized, including an Essay Competition at Salakati College on the impact of corruption, a Poster Making Competition for housewives, and a Drawing Competition for children, which all focused on ethics and accountability.
Additionally, awareness sessions for diverse groups and vigilance hoardings in public places promoted the message of integrity. Ananta Samanta, DGM (Vigilance), noted that vigilance is essential for self-discipline and responsibility.
This observance was part of a larger nationwide campaign to instill integrity and accountability, reinforcing NTPC’s commitment to fostering a united, corruption-free society as it celebrates 50 years of service.
