New Delhi, Sept 19: The Cuddalore Town Hall has been restored by NLC India Limited (NLCIL) for ₹3.5 crore as a CSR initiative, with inauguration on 18th September 2025.
The project, funded by a ₹3.30 crore grant to the District Administration, revitalized the heritage building with modern amenities. NLCIL’s CMD highlighted that nearly 70% of their CSR funding goes to Cuddalore District, with ₹380 crore invested to date in various developmental initiatives, including the restoration of water bodies.
This restoration is presented as a testament to NLCIL’s commitment to the district’s cultural heritage and sustainable development.
