NHPC organised seminar on “Mahatma Gandhi’s Language Contemplation”

A one-day seminar was organized on the theme “Mahatma Gandhi’s Language Contemplation” on 10.07.2019 by the NHPC Limited under the aegis of the Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanvayan Samiti,(NARAKAS) Faridabad. Shri Nikhil Kumar Jain, Director (Personnel), NHPC Limited as Chief Guest of the program, inaugurated the seminar by lighting the traditional lamp.

The seminar was organized on the occasion of 150^th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. In his address on this occasion, Shri Nikhil Kumar Jain, Director (Personnel) said that Mahatma Gandhi considered Hindi as not only a language but cultural heritage of the country also. Gandhiji adopted Hindi as a communication language and connected it with freedom movement and it was the power of Hindi language that made the entire nation connected with love. Gandhiji had said that, it is absolutely essential for all Indians to learn Rajbhasha i.e. Hindi. On this occasion Prof. R.K. Pandey, D.G. (NPTI), Shri Avinash Kumar, Executive Director (Human Resource), NHPC Ltd. and Dr. Rajbir Singh, General Manager (Rajbhasha), NHPC Ltd. were present.

During the seminar, Shri J.S. Rajput, former Director of NCERT, Dr. Ganga Prasad Vimal, Former Director of Central Hindi Directorate and well-known Hindi Writer, Prof. Ramesh Bhardwaj, Director of Gandhi Bhavan and Dr. Anil Roy, Professor, Delhi University and Dr. M.P. Sharma, Professor, Jamia Millia University, Shri V.P. Gaud, Director, Ministry of Culture and other scholars presented their views on the Mahatma Gandhi’s language contemplation and his vision on language. In this seminar, more than 75 persons from other NARAKAS member offices, including NHPC Ltd participated.

The co-operation of NTPC Limited, Indian Oil Corporation and BPCL for this seminar was appreciable.

“महात्मा गांधी का भाषा चिंतन” विषय पर संगोष्ठी आयोजित

नगर राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति, फरीदाबाद के तत्वावधान में एनएचपीसी लिमिटेड द्वारा दिनांक 10.07.2019 को फरीदाबाद में “महात्मा गांधी का भाषा चिंतन” विषय पर एक दिवसीय संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। महात्मा गांधी जी की 150वीं जयंती के अवसर पर नराकास, फरीदाबाद के तत्वावधान में आयोजित इस हिंदी संगोष्ठी के मुख्य अतिथि श्री निखिल कुमार जैन, निदेशक (कार्मिक), एनएचपीसी लिमिटेड ने इस संगोष्ठी का उद्धघाटन पारंपरिक रूप से दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर के किया। इस अवसर पर अपने संबोधन में श्री निखिल कुमार जैन, निदेशक (कार्मिक) ने कहा कि महात्मा गांधी जी ने हिंदी को केवल भाषा ना मानते हुए सदैव देश की सांस्कृतिक विरासत माना।

गांधी जी ने हिंदी को संपर्क भाषा के रूप में अपनाते हुए पूरे देश को आजादी के आंदोलन से जोड़ा और यह हिंदी भाषा की ही ताकत थी जिससे पूरा राष्ट्र देश प्रेम की कड़ी से जुड़ा। गांधी जी ने कहा था सभी हिंदुस्तानियों के लिए राष्ट्रभाषा यानी हिंदी को सीखना परम आवश्यक है। इस अवसर पर प्रो. आर.के. पांडेय, महानिदेशक (एनपीटीआई), श्री अविनाश कुमार, कार्यपालक निदेशक (मानव संसाधन), एनएचपीसी लिमिटेड तथा डॉ. राजबीर सिंह, महाप्रबंधक (राजभाषा), एनएचपीसी लिमिटेड उपस्थित थे।

संगोष्ठी के दौरान एनसीईआरटी के पूर्व निदेशक श्री जे.एस. राजपूत, केंद्रीय हिंदी निदेशालय के पूर्व निदेशक व सुप्रसिद्ध हिंदी साहित्यकार डॉ॰ गंगा प्रसाद विमल, गांधी भवन के निदेशक प्रो॰ रमेश भारद्वाज तथा दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के प्रो. डॉ. अनिल राय तथा जामिया मिलिया विश्वविद्यालय के प्रो. डॉ. एम.पी. शर्मा, संस्कृति मंत्रालय के निदेशक श्री वी.पी. गौड़ और अन्य विद्वानों ने महात्मा गांधी के भाषा चिंतन एवं उनकी भाषा दृष्टि पर अपने अपने विचार प्रतिभागियों के समक्ष रखे। इस संगोष्ठी में एनएचपीसी लिमिटेड सहित अन्य नराकास सदस्य कार्यालयों के 75 से अधिक कार्मिकों ने भाग लिया।

इस संगोष्ठी आयोजन में एनटीपीसी लिमिटेड, इंडियन ऑयल कारपोरेशन तथा बीपीसीएल का सहयोग सराहनीय रहा।
