New Delhi, Oct 01: Engineers Day was celebrated on September 27, 2025, by the Institution of Engineers (India), Neyveli local centre, with Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD of NLCIL, as the Chief Guest and Er S M Ramanathan from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited as Guest of Honour.
The event highlighted the contributions of engineers to the nation and included participants from various educational institutions. In his speech, CMD Motupalli honored Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, while Ramanathan discussed the theme ‘Deep Tech & Engineering Excellence: Driving India’s Techade.’
Additionally, elocution and quiz competitions were held for students and practicing engineers. Er. A Eraniyan welcomed guests, and Er. M. Anbalagan delivered the Vote of Thanks.
