MRPL Board Approves Q4 FY26 Results, Annual Financials

New Delhi, Jan 14: The Board of Directors of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) approved the Standalone and Consolidated financial results for the third quarter (Q3 FY 2025-26) and nine months (9M FY 2025-26) ended December 31, 2025, during its 272nd Meeting on January 14, 2026.

Financial highlights for Q3 FY 2025-26 include:

  • Revenue from operations reached ₹29,720 Crore, up from ₹25,601 Crore in Q3 FY 2024-25.
  • Profit before tax increased significantly to ₹2,214 Crore from ₹469 Crore.
  • Profit after tax rose to ₹1,445 Crore compared to ₹304 Crore in the previous year.
  • Debt equity ratio improved to 0.63 from 0.79.

For the nine months ending December 31, 2025:

  • Revenue declined to ₹76,661 Crore from ₹81,676 Crore.
  • Profit before tax turned positive at ₹2,786 Crore, reversing a loss prior year.
  • Profit after tax increased to ₹1,812 Crore from a loss of ₹313 Crore.
  • Total borrowings decreased from ₹12,867 Crore to ₹9,290 Crore, with a notable improvement in the debt equity ratio.

Physical performance showed a throughput (crude + others) of 4.70 MMT for Q3 FY 2025-26, slightly higher than 4.60 MMT in Q3 FY 2024-25. Notably, for the first time, Sarir Mesla Crude from Libya was processed, and the company began storing crude in a leased cavern storage facility.

The financial performance details reveal:

  • Standalone revenue from operations for Q3 FY 2025-26 was ₹29,720 Crore with ₹7,458 Crore in exports.
  • EBITDA was ₹2,824 Crore, with profits before and after tax recorded at ₹2,214 Crore and ₹1,445 Crore respectively.
  • Total comprehensive income for Q3 was ₹1,440 Crore.

On a consolidated basis, PAT attributable to owners of the company for Q3 FY 2025-26 was ₹1,451 Crore.

MRPL received multiple awards, including the Export Excellence Awards by FIEO in two categories, recognition for digitization in supply chain processes, and the Innovation Award 2024-25 for excellence in refining technology. Additionally, the company won the “Legend (Emerging) Award” in the Environment Improvement category at the 19th Exceed Environment, CSR & HR Awards.
