Shri Manoj Mathur has assumed charge of Director (Solar), Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) on 16th August, 2019. Prior to this he was serving as Executive Director (Commercial), NTPC Limited, a leading power utility in India.
He is B.Sc. Engineering (Mechanical) graduate, LLB and MBA (Finance), with more than 35 years of experience in all key elements of electricity value chain- Generation (thermal, gas, hydro and renewable), thermal and renewable project construction and commissioning, power trading, contracts, commercial, consultancy, UMPP Bidding process and on going reform process in the sector.
