New Delhi, May 05: K M Prashanth, former General Manager (Corporate Communications) at NTPC Limited, has been conferred the “IPSE Doyen of the Decade (Public Sector)” award for his outstanding contribution to corporate communications and public relations in the power and renewable energy sectors.
The award was presented by Anil Razdan on April 30, 2026, at the SCOPE Convention Centre, in the presence of Sandeep Gupta and A K Singh.
With over three decades of experience at NTPC, Prashanth has played a key role in shaping corporate communication strategies, human resource functions, and corporate affairs, contributing significantly to the organisation’s growth and public engagement.
At the same event, J P Sharma was honoured with the IPSE Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence, recognising his long-standing contributions to corporate communications.
The IPSE Awards, instituted by PSE Journal in association with the Enertia Foundation, celebrate excellence across India’s public sector enterprises and acknowledge their critical role in driving economic growth and national development.
