NTPC Vindhyachal received National Award for its publication “Khila Hain Jyon Bijlee KaPhul”at the 4th Global Literary Fest organised jointly by International Chamber of Media &Entertaiment Industry and Asian Academy of Art. Shri A K Tewary, ED, Vindhyachal received the award at a colourful session during the event at the Marwah studios in FilmCity, NOIDA .
The Award was received for NTPC Vindhyachal’s contribution to promotion of Literature. This is an Innovative Literary Initiative by any Corporate Organisation. Present on the dais were prominent personalities like Shri VivekAgnihotri, Film Director, HE BothataTsikoane, Ambassador to Kingdom of Lesotho, Shri Sandeep Marwah, President Marwah Studios, well known authors, Shri AsgarWazahat, Shri Pankaj Mitra,ShriBhalchand Joshi and Shri Rakesh Bihari.
Audio CDs of selected stories read by Shri Raghuvir Yadav was also launched during the three day literary festival. These stories reflect the pride in each of the employees about their journey in NTPC.The event was inaugurated in presenceof Lt Gen. K M Seth, ex Governor of Chhattisgarh, MP and Tripura.
