New Delhi, Mar 16 India Post will offer guaranteed next-day delivery with its new ’24 Speed Post’ service, starting March 17, the Ministry of Communications announced. The launch event will be held at Rang Bhawan Auditorium, Akashvani Bhawan, with Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia and Minister of State Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani presiding.
The service, initially available in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, aims to enhance express logistics across major metros. Alongside the 24-hour option, a ’48 Speed Post’ service with assured D+2 delivery will also be offered, featuring priority air transport and dedicated processing.
Customers will benefit from OTP-secured delivery, end-to-end tracking with SMS alerts, and for business users, BNPL options, free bulk pickup, API integration, and centralized billing. A money-back guarantee ensures reliability, reinforcing India Post’s premium delivery capabilities.
The department has modernized its parcel ecosystem under the Advanced Postal Technology (APT) 2.0 project, introducing real-time updates and enhanced last-mile delivery through Nodal Delivery Centres, the ministry noted.
