Davos, Jan 22 (IANS): India’s upcoming AI Impact Summit in New Delhi will focus on three key objectives: enhancing economic impact through AI efficiency, improving accessibility particularly for India and the Global South, and ensuring safety with appropriate regulations and guidelines for AI usage.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasized India’s capability in building a sustainable AI ecosystem, akin to its achievements with UPI and Digital Public Infrastructure.
The summit will feature global leaders, investments, and the introduction of India’s AI models. Additionally, India has a burgeoning startup ecosystem with significant advancements in semiconductor technology, aiming to enhance its manufacturing capabilities from 28nm to 7nm and 3nm by 2032.
Partnerships with major companies like Google Cloud underscore India’s commitment to fortifying its AI ecosystem.
