The Delhi government is fully prepared to offer a new experience to the devotees, with hundreds of employees working round the clock to clean the river. Gupta criticized previous governments for lacking intent to tackle the froth that poses a hazard to devotees and highlighted the government’s commitment to environmental protection.

She also cited efforts to allow green crackers for Diwali celebrations. The Yamuna is returning to its clean, pristine, and uninterrupted flow, thanks to continuous efforts by the government, including tapping sewers, installing STPs, and controlling pollution.
