Free Buttermilk Distribution Centres opened for Public at Neyveli

NLCIL always feels, service to the society and helping the people in need is its prime responsibility. As part of this, under its Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme, NLCIL is organizing free Butter Milk distribution Stalls (NLC IL DHARA) for the people in and around Neyveli to combat heavy summer heat, EVERY YEAR.

NLC India Limited is organizing 8 butter milk distribution stalls by engaging members of People Service Group, to serve around 35,000 people in a day at different locations like, NLC Arch Gate, PRO, Central Bus Stand, General Hospital, Block-29 Pump House, St. Paul School,  Mandarakuppam Bus Stand and Pudhukuppam Junction from 14.04.2018 with an approximate cost of Rs.30 Lakh. Apart from Buttermilk, NLCIL is planning to serve Lemon Juice and purified Drinking Water in the stalls.

Today (14.04.2018) Free Butter Milk Distribution Stall was formally inaugurated by, Shri R. Vikraman, Director (HR), NLCIL, in the presence of Sri R. Mohan, CGM/CSR at a Distribution Center, near Public Relations Office, Block-2, Neyveli.

Similarly, the other Distribution Centers, such as  NLC Arch Gate, Central Bus Stand, General Hospital, Block-29 Pump House, St. Paul School,  Mandarakuppam Bus Stand and Pudhukuppam Junction were inaugurated by Shri N. Muthu, ED(HR), Shri V. Chandrasekaran, ED(Fin.), Shri M. Karthikeyan, CGM(TA), Shri D. Venkata Subbiah, CGM(Thermal), Shri Aravind Kumar, CGM(Mine-I & IA) and Shri Hemant Kumar, CGM(Mine-II), respectively.

In and around Neyveli, many people from all walks of life appreciate this good initiative and thanking NLCIL management for their timely care on the people to survive in hot summer.
