New Delhi, Jan 16: Design Fest 2026 marks the inaugural art, craft, and design festival organized by Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), officially launched by S. Suresh Kumar, IAS, Chairman, DVC, alongside esteemed guests like Abin Chaudhuri, an eminent architect.
The event draws participation from several senior DVC executives and aims to provide a unique platform for promoting creativity and traditional skills, along with enhancing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
This festival connects artisans from West Bengal and Jharkhand with a broader audience and celebrates India’s diverse craft and design heritage.
Attendees can explore a variety of displays that include traditional crafts, paintings, handicrafts, and modern technologies such as 3D printing and interactive games, alongside CSR-focused exhibitions that highlight DVC’s contributions to community development.
Spanning three days, the festival runs until January 17, emphasizing DVC’s commitment to inclusive development and cultural promotion. Entry to the festival is free for all visitors.
