The 69th Independence Day was celebrated at DVC HQs, Kolkata through several programmes. While unfurling the National Flag, A.W.K Langstieh, Chairman, DVC said that the birth of DVC was around the same time when India got independence. He said that DVC has a symbiotic relationship with the growth of the Nation and is playing a major role in the eastern part of the country as a major power player.
He said that DVC has achieved the highest generation and highest units generated in the month of May-2015 and touched new milestones in several functional areas. He also added that DVC employees have imbibed a culture of doing things on time and that DVC is moving towards a habit of efficiently and effectively completing its assignments.
