NTPC Ltd and TERI signed an Agreement for collaborative research on “Optimizing resource use and reducing water footprints of electricity generation in India” on 15th December, 2015 in New Delhi. The agreement marks a remarkable initiative by the two organizations in the field of water use optimization. The output of joint research will provide a way forward for the corporate sector to follow and play a responsible role in achieving water and energy security for the country.
The MoU was signed by R.K. Srivastava, Executive Director, NTPC-NETRA, and Dinesh Varma, Director-Finance & Administration TERI in the presence of A.K. Jha, CMD, NTPC and Dr R.K. Pachauri, DG-TERI and other senior officials of NTPC and TERI.
