When we look at our Future Readiness
One of the biggest challenges is land acquisition which should be taken care by adapting suitable policies.
Execution of Projects with continuous monitoring to avoid cost overrun and time over run.
Concerted focus on RE projects for aggressive RE capacity addition with storage facilities.
While we plan for FY 2023-24 and future, we have to give more thrust and priority for
Stringent Safety measures/compliances and zero tolerance towards unsafe conditions. Adapting mitigative measures to bring down the Forced outages.
Ensuring highest Plant availability and Plant load factor for Thermal plants, enhancing higher CUF (Capacity Utilization Factor) for RE plants and Mining machineries and systems.
Setting up of large-scale Renewable energy projects.
Award of contract for the 3×800 MW Talabira Thermal power project and the 2x660MW TPS-II 2nd Expn Project and timely completion of the projects.
Endeavor for acquiring Coal Blocks for commercial use.
Generating revenue from Mines Overburden, Implementing Sand beneficiation plants.
Reducing cost of production by adapting various cost control measures.
Reduction of auxiliary fuel and power consumption and other energy conservation methods.
Round the clock monitoring of environment norms and taking mitigation measures.
Sustainable growth measures through technology with strengthening the in-house talents by imparting continuous training.
Gaining stakeholders confidence.
Therefore, I wish to reiterate that we shall not rest on past laurels but to bestow our best efforts always to maintain the sustainability in our growth track.
We must continue to deliver excellence by adopting a professional and productive work culture with best safety practices which will hold the key to our future success. Let us all take a pledge to re-dedicate ourselves to achieve newer heights for NLCIL and stand committed to work for the growth of power generation of our Country.
I am sure, with the continuous guidance and support of Ministry of Coal, Central and State Governments,
co-operation of all other stakeholders, we can, and we shall rise up to the occasion to meet any challenge in a manner consistent with our professional and cultural tradition.
Let me conclude by reiterating my strong belief that, with the Integrity and dedicated teamwork which we have and by giving utmost priority to safety, we shall scale NLCIL to newer heights in
FY 2023-24 and the years to come.
