New Delhi, Jan 12: The 26th Inter CPSU Bridge Tournament 2022-23, organized by Damodar Valley Corporation, under the aegis of Power Sports Control Board, Ministry of Power, Government of India was inaugurated on 12.01.2023 at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Chairman, DVC Ram Naresh Singh. The event was attended by the Member- Secretary, DVC – Dr. John Mathai who is the Patron of the tournament , the Executive Director (HR)- Rakesh Ranjan who is the President of the Tournament, respected Executive Directors, senior executives of DVC , the Tournament Director Gora Roy Chowdhury.
The tournament witnessed participation from various entities across the Indian Power Sector Parivaar including teams from the Ministry of Power, BBMB, NEEPCO, NHPC, PGCIL, SJVNL, REC, THDC and the host team DVC. The welcome address was delivered by the ED (HR), DVC followed by words of encouragement and motivation by the respected Member – Secretary and the Chief guest, Chairman, DVC.
The oath was administered by the Captain of the Host Team along with all participating Team captains to the participants. The tournament was kick started by the Chief Guest , Chairman , DVC, R.N. Singh by the dealing of cards.
