Faridabad, July 26: A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between NHPC, India’s premier hydropower company and DAV Police Public School, Sector-30 Police lines, Faridabad for providing Smart Classes in DAV Police Public School under the CSR initiative of NHPC.
The MOU was signed by Executive Director (CSR&SD), NHPC and Head of School, DAV Police Public School, Faridabad at NHPC Corporate Office Faridabad on 25th July 2022.
Under this project, DAV shall set up “smart classes by way of installing 3 nos. interactive panels to strengthen Information & Communication Technology infrastructure and making students tech savvy in every sphere of life” and to further facilitate the teaching/learning process.
DAV Police Public School operates under Haryana Police Welfare Society and has enrollment of about 60% students belonging to the wards of police personnel, who hails from far-off rural areas lacking exposure to basic education.

फरीदाबाद, 26.07.2022: भारत की अग्रणी जल विद्युत कंपनी एनएचपीसी और डीएवी पुलिस पब्लिक स्कूल, सेक्टर -30 पुलिस लाइन, फरीदाबाद के बीच एनएचपीसी की सीएसआर पहल के तहत डीएवी पुलिस पब्लिक स्कूल में स्मार्ट कक्षाएं प्रदान करने के लिए समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए । कार्यपालक निदेशक (सीएसआर एवं एसडी), एनएचपीसी और स्कूल प्रमुख, डीएवी पुलिस पब्लिक स्कूल, फरीदाबाद द्वारा 25 जुलाई, 2022 को एनएचपीसी निगम मुख्यालय, फरीदाबाद में समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए ।
इस परियोजना के तहत, डीएवी सूचना एवं संचार प्रौद्योगिकी की अवसंरचना को मजबूत करने और छात्रों को जीवन के हर क्षेत्र में तकनीक की समझ रखने वाले बनाने के लिए इंटरैक्टिव पैनल ” शिक्षण/सीखने की प्रक्रिया को और सुगम बनाने के लिए 3 “स्मार्ट क्लास” स्थापित करेगा । डीएवी पुलिस पब्लिक स्कूल हरियाणा पुलिस वेलफेयर सोसाइटी के अंतर्गत संचालित होता है और इसमें लगभग 60% छात्र पुलिसकर्मियों के बच्चे हैं, जो बुनियादी शिक्षा के अभाव वाले दूर-दराज के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों से आते हैं ।
