Shimla, Oct 14 NHPC Limited has contributed Rupees One crore to the Chief Minister’s relief fund in aid of the victims of the recent natural calamities in Himachal Pradesh. Balraj Joshi, Chairman & Managing Director, NHPC presented the cheque to Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jai Ram Thakur at Shimla on 12th October 2018. A.K. Singh, Executive Director from NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad and M.K. Goel, Executive Director, NHPC Regional Office Chandigarh, NHPC were also present on the occasion.
The state has recently been hit by natural calamities which have resulted in losses worth hundreds of crores of Rupees. Shri Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC accompanied by A.K. Singh and M.K. Goel also discussed other relevant issues pertaining to NHPC during the occasion. CMD NHPC assured all possible support in such times of calamity. The Chief Minister expresses his gratitude to NHPC for their support.
