Mangaluru. February 17, 2018 : The second batch of trainees under MRPL Kaushal Vikas Kendra have successfully completed their training at NTTF, Bangalore. All the candidates have been offered job placements. The placement offers were handed over to the candidates by Shri Anil Kumar, General Manager, NTTF and Shri Suresh Kumar J, Chief Manager (SDC & Training), MRPL.
This batch had 21 trainees who were trained under the trade – CNC Operator – Vertical Machining Centre. The training had commenced on 3rd October 2017. The trainees had an initial 10 days Rope-in programme at MRPL, Mangalore and later the trainees moved to NTTF, Bangalore for further training.
The placement offer was given to all the candidates who have expressed their willingness to work. Some of the candidates have expressed interest to continue further studies or to work in their own business.
This is the second batch of trainees trained under MRPL Kaushal Vikas Kendra. It may be recalled that in the first batch, 57 candidates have undergone training at NTTF, Bangalore and have been provided with job offers in August 2017. The candidates have been selected from the neighbouring areas and villages around MRPL. All expenses including food, lodging, tutorial expenses, clothing in the form of uniform etc., are borne by MRPL Kaushal Vikas Kendra. This is an initiative of MRPL under the Skill India programme of the Government of India.
