Mission Director, NWM unveils announcement of Nominations for the 4th Edition of Jal Prahari Samman Samaroh 2023 to held in the month of October 2023
New Delhi, August 02 Monsoon is raining in most parts of the country and this is the time to conserve water. Efforts made during monsoon revive the water sources for the whole year. That's why even small efforts to conserve water can prove to be beneficial, these efforts should be started immediately.
Mission Director & Additional Secretary, National Water Mission Archana Verma (IAS) made this appeal to the water conservationists across the country while inaugurating the nominations for the 4th Edition of Jal Prahari Samman Samaroh 2023. She emphasized on water conservation not only in the villages of the country but also in the cities and said that under the National Water Mission of the Ministry of Jal Shakti, works are being done to conserve the water of wells, rivers and ponds across the country.
In the programme, Convenor of Jal Prahari Anil Singh and CEO & Editor-in-Chief Ameya Sathaye asked all universities, school managements and children across the country to adopt water conservation measures in their respective schools and colleges. He informed that scientists, experts and water conservationists will discuss the efforts being made for water self-reliant India at the Jal Prahari Samaroh to be held in Delhi in the month of October 2023.
