Reliance Industries Records ₹18,645 Crore Net Profit in October–December Quarter

Reliance Industries Posts ₹20,589 Crore Q4 Profit

New Delhi, Jan 17 (IANS): Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), led by Mukesh Ambani, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 18,645 crore for the October-December quarter of the financial year 2025-26 (Q3FY26), marking a slight increase of 0.56% from Rs 18,540 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. Revenue from operations rose by 10.5% year-on-year to Rs 269,496 crore, compared to Rs 243,865 crore in Q3FY25.

The company’s consolidated EBITDA for the quarter was Rs 50,932 crore, reflecting a 6.1% year-on-year increase, though the EBITDA margin fell to 17.3% from 18% in the prior year.

The telecom division, Jio Platforms, experienced a significant 16.4% increase in EBITDA, reaching Rs 19,303 crore, with 5G subscribers surpassing 250 million and fixed broadband users exceeding 25 million. Reliance Retail also saw a 3% rise in net profit to Rs 3,551 crore alongside a 9.2% increase in revenue.

Capital expenditure for this quarter was Rs 33,826 crore ($3.8 billion), with investments focused on growth in Oil to Chemicals (O2C) and New Energy sectors, as well as enhancement of Jio and Retail infrastructure.

Chairman Mukesh Ambani stated that the results demonstrate RIL’s financial consistency and operational strength. He highlighted Jio’s expanding digital ecosystem and the strengthening of the retail business, noting the onboarding of new brands following the recent demerger of the consumer products business.
