New Delhi, Jan 13 : P J Thakkar, Director Technical, REC received the IPSE Award 2014 – – Rural Sector PSE of the year making Grass Root Infrastructure Impact from Yogendra Yadav, former Chairman & MD, NHPC Ltd.

REC was recognized for outstanding contribution in terms of providing financial assistance and promoting rural electrification projects all over the country having consistent record of excellent all round performance growth and profitability since its inception and contribution to the growth of Nation. The event was attended by esteemed dignitaries, key decision makers of Central and State PSUs and media guests.
