Jaipur , Dec 15: Rajasthan is transforming into India’s leading solar energy hub, contributing over 27% to the nation’s solar capacity, with a current total of 41,189 megawatts in renewable energy.
The largest solar park is being developed in Pugal, Bikaner, with a capacity of 2,450 megawatts and advanced battery storage solutions. The state has implemented key initiatives, including the PM-KUSUM and PM Suryaghar Yojana, resulting in thousands of small solar projects and rooftop installations that enhance energy access and sustainability.
Streamlined regulations and policy reforms have driven this rapid growth, establishing Rajasthan as a crucial player in India’s clean energy future.
