The sanctioned survey marks a key step toward enhancing rail infrastructure and improving regional connectivity between Devgarh Madariya and Marwar Junction.
New Delhi, Oct 18 The Ministry of Railways has approved the Final Location Survey for a 72 km broad gauge railway line connecting Devgarh #Madariya to #Marwar Junction. The project will reduce travel time and improve passenger and freight movement across #Rajsamand, #Udaipur, and #Pali districts, providing modern rail access to underserved areas.
This will also benefit farmers’ produce, local economies, and Rajasthan’s marble, granite, and cement industries. 82 km Nathdwara–Devgarh Madariya broad-gauge conversion project worth ₹969 crore will also bring socio-economic benefits to tribal communities by improving access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities.
