Marks 70 Years of Diplomatic Ties Between India and Mongolia
New Delhi, Oct 10 Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa will come on a official visit to India from 13 to 16 October, which will marks a milestone in bilateral relations, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the India and Mongolia.
During the visit, President Khurelsukh will meet President Droupadi Murmu and hold official talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to further strengthen the Strategic Partnership established between India and Mongolia.
The discussions are expected to focus on expanding cooperation across diverse sectors and addressing key regional and international issues of mutual interest. The visit underscores the shared commitment of both nations to deepen political, economic, and cultural engagement.
As part of the program, the Mongolia–India Business Forum will convene to explore new avenues for trade and investment. Additionally, a cultural event titled “Beautiful Mongolia” will celebrate Mongolian heritage through exhibitions of fine art and performances featuring the traditional Morin khuur (horsehead fiddle).
This high-level visit follows Prime Minister Modi’s historic 2015 trip to Mongolia, during which bilateral relations were elevated to a Strategic Partnership — a testament to the enduring friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
