On November 28, 2025, President of India, Droupadi Murmu, attended the launch of the Brahma Kumaris’ annual theme for 2025-26, titled ‘Meditation for World Unity and Trust’, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
During her address, she emphasized the unprecedented advancements humanity has achieved through science and technology, highlighting the current era characterized by information technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
Despite these advancements making life more convenient, the President noted the accompanying challenges of stress, mental insecurity, distrust, and loneliness. She advocated for introspection and inner communication to discover peace and joy within oneself rather than in external factors.
She asserted that an awakened spiritual consciousness fosters love, brotherhood, and unity, establishing the groundwork for global peace. President Murmu commended the Brahma Kumaris for their contributions to world peace, human values, women’s empowerment, spiritual awakening, education, and meditation, expressing confidence that they will continue to foster a more peaceful and trusting world.
